Everyone burns a hundred dollers. See the reason prices rise is because we have more money in siculation. the more money we have the less each bill is worth. So if everyone burns 100 dollars that's billions if not trillions out of siculation which means prices have to drop.

I took this picture at the beginning of the semester. Its a accounting boo, still in the wrapping, but look at the company on the back of the book.

How about we just stop printing money for a little while instead of burning a $100? On top of that, how about not spending like crazy with wasteful government spending (ie Stimulous bailing out AIG and other companies). That would actually help.
You're right about having too much money in circulation. The solution I gave will solve that. Also, we need to stop borrowing money. that also de-values the dollar. Government needs to spend less.

but it would only last for a short period of time. sooner or latter the mony would build up again. unless you plan on creating a "burn a hundred dollars" holiday your idea kinda sucks

I think they gave out the hundred dollars to get people spending again. Sure, it lowers the value of the money, but it gets money circulating again with people spending and giving more money to compainys which could then pay people so they can spend more ect ect. Burning the money would help for a bit, but then people would be less better off and would hord their money even more preventing the economy from recovering.

i think we should print more money that way everyone wins more money in circulation would mean more money for loans and more loans for jobs more jobs means more money being spent means the economy becomes stable

But if you print more money that means the money becomes worth less. which means everything becomes more expensive.

But that makes prices go up. So then peoples jobs aren't paying them enough. And then companies start firing people because they need more money. And then people don't have jobs again.
