They tottally ruined spike on buffy in the last years. I loved him again on angel. My fave character. Too bad angel ended on season 5 would have liked at least one more season with spike. Conner was annoying though i liked the beast storyline. Did spike meet conner??? Spike would have beat conner in a fight. He beat angel.....

My personal pick for most annoying character is Buffy hands down. I loved her show, but I've always thought she was annoying, especially in the later seasons and her guest appearances in Angel where she's only there to generate sympathy (I'm glad Angel eventually puts her in her place in the episode of Angel where she comes to exact revenge on Faith in season one.) Plus Sarah Michelle Gellar turned into a horrible actress as the series progresssed; she was okay in Seasons 1-4, but as Buffy got more tormented, the more her acting tormented me. I watched Buffy for the supporting cast and the story, not for Buffy herself. Oh yeah, how come no one mentioned Riley or Jasmine?

I agree. After season 4 I lost all liking of Buffy as a character.
I can't stand Riley ether. But that's jus tbecause I don't think he actually contributed anything to the show.

connor meet spike in after the fall.
as for spike and buffys relationship: i always saw it as just a sexual relationship. I can even fool myself into thinking that spike doesnt really love buffy. I mean i know he does but i think it just becuase he had the chip in his head, couldent kill her and really couldent do anything else.
I guess what i trying to say is that spike loved her out of boredom.
Tell you the truth i never cared for any of buffys relationships:
Angel was ok in the start but i never understood why they loved each oher, they had nothing in common and half the time angel looks like he is just putting up with her. It feels very rushed and very forced. I mean look at angel and cordy, that was built up so well and they seem to really love each other, friends first then lovers.
Riley i hated at fist but he gre on me evenutally. see theres two things about him and buffy that ruined any chance for the relationship to go anywhere.
1. Riley was filling the fairly big shoes that angel left. 2. After season 4 there was no point to him and buffy just didnt seem to care about him anymore.
I think that is riley came in @ season 5 and had a purpose other than the goverment then he would do ok as a love intreast.
I already gave my veiws on spike. I honstly think spike would have work well with lhila or faith if it was builtup wel. Hell his sudo releationship with illyria fred in the comics was far better than that with buffy

Conner! He was a terrible character and was better only after he had his memory altered and given a family in an altered perception of reality. Daen lost her purprose yes, but she learned to kick ass in the final season, not to mention she could read languages like Giles, do magic like Willow and fight hand to hand better then Xander thanks to training from Buffy and probably Spike too for a spell in her younger days.
Conner was part of a really great idea and story arc... but in the end, the Beast died, Angelus didnt last long enough, Cordelia's character was ruined and written out way too cheaply to be killed off later and Conner was a dud end to his story in the series. Least Fred got to have a kick ass death and re-birth!

I think Connor is annoying because of his whinyness and unnecessary teen angst moments (he was raised in hell, you'd think he'd be above that.) However, I think saying he's a terrible character is definitely an overstatement. He is definitely a strong character and a very much necessary part of the Angel storyline, it's just a question of whether he outstayed his welcome. Like Buffy, after season 4, he was just there to generate symmpathy and his actor surely didn't help him appear anymore convincing (though I don't think he's a terrible actor like Sarah Michelle Geller; he definitely did some really good work, like in the film "Dandelion" which is a must-see).

i think everyone failing to see that the point to connor and dawn are to be annoying.
i mean dawn is sapose to fill the role of braty little sister
and connor does evole over time and become less annoying. in the comics i like him alot

But I never found Conner annoying. And Dawn was supposed ot be the annoying sister in season 5 (and she does it AMAZINGLY well I mena I want to strangle her). But she keeps being annoying and pointless in season 6 and 7.

But she keeps being annoying and pointless in season 6 and 7. yea but would it be realistic for her to be annoying just in season 5 and suddenly become a good little girl in 6 & 7. in the comics her and buffy final came to terms about their bickering sister relationship

Realistic maybe. But not fun for the viewer.
