Who do you think Marvel should kill off permanently? Or if not permanently, just for a looooooooooong while. The two that I think of are Hulk and Wolverine.
Wolverine is basically a used up whore with all the writers using him. I think the more popularity he gains with the mainstream audience, the less cool he becomes. There are really no stories with him that interest me anymore.
As for the Hulk, he can't support his own book as he is now. I don't think anyone with intelligence cares about a character whose super strong and "super stupid" like Loeb has been writing him. I want to read the Professor or Joe Fixit, not "Savage Hulk"!

I say Rulk. Hulk must stay he's too awesome. Rulk on the other hand has to die his very character is an insult to the mind. the second would have to be Sentry he's too powerful.

That's not fare Peter David did an 11 year run that was nothing but intelligent and amazing. Hulk is a great character when under a good writer. Look at Greg Pak he did a great job and he's coming back now. I would kill Wolverine and keep Cap dead.

Yeah, I'd leave Steve dead (Bucky's doing a good job anyway & no one hates Bucky as Cap) & kill Wolverine off, leave him dead for about 10 years. They could still have Wolverine comics, they'd just be about his past.

I know, Steve should stay dead and let Bucky establish his own character like Wally West did. You can go ahead and add Quesada on my list for that one.

I would have to say Dr Doom and Magneto. I actually really like both characters but I think it would be interesting to not have the two "big bads" for a little while.

What are you talking about Magneto hasn't been around for a good long time he JUST came back. He hasn' tbeen a big villain since atleast House of M maybe even befoe that.

Oh um..... well im not huge on the x books. What I was getting at is that it might be interesting for marvel to be with out its go to bad bad for a little while. Well maybe not "go to" but biggest and most well known.

Captain America!
Just my 2 cents but it'd be nice if they keep a main character dead and replace him for a while and just wait for an inevitable reboot (permanent death until the reboot if you take my meaning.)
Oh and as for Rulk, I'm betting he'll pay off in the end but to me it comes across like Leob is so focused on future story arcs and cross-overs with his Hulk Wars he's not paying attention to what he's writing in the here and now. On the positive side though I just rediscovered Greg Pak is still on "Incredible Hulk" for some reason I thought it was canceled and changed to just "Hulk." The stuff Pak is doing with Skaar and his side kick Banner has been fun so far.

Jubilee. She makes... sparkles? She's pretty much dead. I think she lost her powers from House of M.

You do know Captain America DID die and was replaced right? Yeah but I have little faith they don't plan on simply waiving their hands and bringing him back.
