He's going to turn into the next Alan Moore and when he's facing a midlife crisis or something, he'll end up writing this generations WATCHMEN and fanboys will never escape the idea that there are better books out there that deserve attention

wow really? i personally think his batman is the greatest run on batman ever and possibly the best run i have ever read period. its better then watchmen already and he has a great take on all the characters. his joker is also outstanding and works beautifully. the way its going right now its like angel part 1 great part 2 better part 3 better then that part 4 great just not as great and 5 will be the greatest ever

Yes, even them calling the thing danse macabre is brilliant if you have the piece in mind.

I have just recently bought and read Batman R.I.P.... I did like it but... it does give me a bit of a headache. So i am currently re-reading the part when Tim Drake is reviewing Batman's journal. Overall, i think hes OK. I do like his work with the JLA. And I also agree with Andrew, he is full of himself.

not as full of himself as alan moore appears to be
grant is prbly one of the best writers of the past 20 years. i mean hes not frank miller good but he cud prbly get closer than he was before if return of bruce wayne and the final chapter of his run is as spectacular as i want it to be

He's a genius. First comic book I picked up regularly was the first issue of his Batman run. His Batman run is awesome, and B&R has continued to keep me hooked. And now, I'm especially stoked for Batman 700.
