Just read online that Batman 3 might not have Christopher Nolan at the helm and it got me thinking.
The Superman Movies. Had Richard Donnor for 1 & 2 then 3 and the others that followed sucked ass. Tim Burtons Batman. Had Tim Burton for 1 & 2 then 3 and everything after that sucked ass X-Men. Had Brian Singer for 1 & 2 he wasn't involved in X3 or Origins they both sucked ass.
Anyone taking bets that the next Batman movie is going to suck?

No. And I've got a bad feeling about what Eric's gonna do when he sees this.

If Nolan does come back on, I highly doubt it will suck. However, it is something we must bear in mind..as you pointed out there haven't really been any great third movies. That being said, I'm sure Nolan will come back and give us a satisfying third film.

I hope not.
I think that in order for it not to, Nolan has to leave. I don't like the work he's done. :/

Nolan has to be on the next film. It will be a travesty if he isn't.

It's a damn shame if that's true, but that's how things go. If he doesn't wanna do it, fine let someone who does take the helm.

I really have to asume if they leave it in the hands of David Goyer it will still be good. Otherwise it's up in the air.

David Goyer was co-writer for Begins and DK.
Seriously, just because a new director come son doesn't mean it will be bad. I don't think anyone was up in a tissy when Jun Fukuda took over Godzilla from Ishiro Honda. In fact, Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla is STILL one of my favorites.
